A D.C. district judge has extended the federal grand jury being used by special counsel Robert Mueller by another 6 months, as its 18-month term was set to expire in the coming days, reports CNN's Katelyn Polantz.

Why it matters: Media outlets have speculated throughout the investigation of the Trump campaign's ties to Russia that the special counsel may soon be wrapping up his probe. The extension of the grand jury suggests otherwise.

What were the names of all the people who worked for the special council, and who led the special council?
Not the same investigation...but there's Ken Starr and the Whitewater investigation - began in 1994 and ended in the year 2000.

I understand that you are distracted by the plethora of “beautiful WMU coeds” who stay in Kalamazoo during winter break, but the word you’re looking for is “counsel,” not “council.”
