So, was there no "smoking gun," or are we waiting on the talking points from MSNBC, HuffPost, Daily Kos, and Politico?

Mueller was cowardly in refusing to identify cheeto as any of the redacted/referenced ("Boss") names, but he also was professional in refusing to answer questions relating to other criminal proceedings that are on going.

It can be argued that there was "no smoking gun" (which is entirely different from it not having happened) with Russian collusion, but even the most Tier Three attorney would read the report, listen to today's hearing, and entirely agree that witness tampering and obstruction of justice occurred numerous times by cheeto.

overall it was a pretty embarrassing display for a so called, "honorable", "impeccable character" individual. I actually started to wonder if he is in the early stages of Alzheimer disease. He actually appeared to be the "tier 3" we hear so much about.

I wondered about his mental capacity too. Seemed confused....asked people to repeat very simple questions.

I think the guy is around 76 years old. When you are sitting there getting grilled for 4+ hours, have people whispering in your ear, have to try to find and read along to what people are asking you in a report, etc., it is very understandable for a person to ask for things to be repeated.

Then, you have people trying to purposely trip you up and get you to contradict yourself. Republicans did this many times with their questions by saying something similarly sounding yet different than what was in the report and posing the question at the end as "Is that correct?" If he isn't paying very close attention, he would say something like "generally agree," but could actually be contradicting a small detail in the report. Mueller caught it a handful of times and would disagree with the way the question was posed. The wordy way some of the questions were presented with just asking for confirmation was to hard to sift through in a first listen.

The questions were pretty straightforward for an individual who was supposedly "leading" an investigation with vast experience as an attorney and prosecutor. Its pretty apparent after yesterday, he was a "leader" in name only, and probably had very little to do with the overall investigation.

Anybody remember this old line? "Mueller knows!"

Should be revised. "Mueller didn't appear to know...shit"

he hadn't sit there for 4+ hours when the stammering began. hell, i thought he appeared to be less rattled as the day went on, if anything. he appeared nervous as a dog shitting razor blades in the beginning.

not sure why he would have been rattled by republican questions. majority of his answers to them was a form of no answer, i.e. "i can't comment on that".

They have went after the POTUS for years now. Screw them. They have gone after his family and tried to take him down because they lost an election to an outsider.

this has been almost as glorious as the days after the election. almost . . . well, not really nearly as glorious, but still, glorious.

No kidding ,duh. They constantly asked questions about the very things he said he wouldn't be commenting on at the very beginning of the hearing.

thanks for the assist in proving my point.

on the flip side, sorry yore too stupid to realize those questions were asked anyhow to get it on record that said questions were asked as was indicated by those asking such questions.

Meaning you approve of Republicans asking questions they knew in advance would not be commented on. great

I see greed is one of the few remaining left wing nuts still holding onto hope.

Well into year three of this failed coup, and only the nuttiest of nuts continue to hold on to hope.

When even Michael Moore has tossed in the towel, you know you're left only with certified nuts.

greed remains with a list that includes:

pencil neck
rachel maddow
various gay guys on CNN
late night former-comedians
yag's main squeeze kathy griffin
rosie O
the nuts on the view
nadler
pocahontas
