Nice job by Grassie and the team. Very well deserved. Also nice job by the Herd fans supporting the program. Looked very good seeing so many Herd fans in the stadium on the ESPN 2 broadcast.
The ESPN2 Broadcast crew were so in the tank for Indiana it was hilarious. Eat it bastages.

Is it too early to start talking about giving Grassie some kind of raise? You would have to think there is a soccer program or programs out there that have certainly paid attention to the job he has done at Marshall.
After watching Marshall throughout the tournament, I now understand the most important thing about soccer: WE ARE THE CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Cut basketball and football.
2. Funnel money into soccer.
3. Dominate forever.
I want a replay of the winning goal on a loop that plays on all my TVs twenty four hours a days, seven days a week, for the rest of my life!
Too early? We just won a national championship. Give the man whatever he wants. All the cash and all the perks.
Give the man the “President of Marshall” title. Hell, we just bought some planes, give him one of those too.
I did not get arrested either. Man, that was fun.
An absolutely incredible achievement!!! What a great time to be a Herd fan! I watched the whole thing. This is so amazing.
Nope. Give him a raise now and keep him in the fold. Be proactive for once.
If college soccer returns to a fall sport this coming year Marshall will have a Dustin Johnson(Masters) type reign as champion. The next season starts in about three months and the 2021 champion will be crowned in a little over six months. Of course if MU repeats then who cares.

Many congratulations on your national championship. I have personally witnessed Conference USA sports since its very beggining in 1995(basketball). There are many including myself that have questioned could a CUSA team ever win a national championship? I have bemoaned the decisions made by CUSA for many years because they often haven't helped it members win at the highest levels. Thank you Matshall for breaking through that barrier of doubt. I personally will only wear my alma mater's colors... but there are certains events that happen that are so large and are of such magnitude that exceptions MUST be made. Father's day is approaching so how hard is it to get a national championship tshirt?

Thanks for the information. I will wrap up my discussion by saying that I hope that all who were responsible for making this happen are given carte blanche. Those in power should all sign their names to a blank document, then the soccer coach should then write the terms on said document.
This event has helped so many and will benefit many. Enjoy it, capatalize on it, and most importantly continue it. Show others in the conference how to invest in a program and not make excuses. Show the conference that it can be more than "mid major". I hope your program from now on can set an example to this underwelming conference the value of a winning program, not just getting a "market".
