NC State QB to be grad transfer

I am a Marshall grad living in Raleigh NC. Jalen McClendon, a very athletic QB, will be transferring out. Please pass the word into Coach Holliday.

McClendon was a 3 star hgih schoool recruit that was expected to start a couple of years ago. But NC State got a new OC, Drinkwitz, from Boise State and Ryan Finely, whom he had coached at Boise, came along with him. McClendon saw only limted playing time after that. It looks like Finely will be an NFL QB after next year.

Anyway, McClendon is a good talent and apparently and even greater team mate.

Would love to have him in Green and White but I don’t think Dave Doeren would approve Jalen’s transfer to Marshall given we play them next year.

Yes they do if the player wants to be on scholarship at his new school.
