I may have mentioned this before but I trained a little bit with the wrestlers at WVU when I arrived as a freshman. We shared some strength/conditioning coaches.
These dudes were absolute freaks. Insane cardio and intensity and strength. Probably didn't have elite hand/eye coordination, but had elite "first step", strength, and conditioning. Whatever "dawg" in them they had it was not in me. I was mentally tough in other ways (slogging through studies, delayed gratification, etc), but they had some other gears.
