Doing things a little different this year. I am going to post 3-5 highlight videos for the next 3 weeks leading up to Nationals. That way coaches, recruiting services, and sports journalists can have access to footage before and during Nationals.

First up Maciej (Maciek) Bender 6'10 235 lb. Forward Mountain Mission School Class of 2016 2014-2015 Junior Season Highlights
Originally from Poland. Maciej is ranked #29 in Europe and plays for the Polish National team and was a participant in NBA Beyond Borders.

If I were a coach. I'd sign him in a second

J Demp13, the Bender kid looks like a talent but I was most impressed with #4's ball handling ability and his penchant for assists. Has this young man signed to play anywhere?

That's our Columbian PG. I love his game. He has some low D1 schools showing interest but none of them have offered yet. I guess they are scared of his size. Although I understand their concerns, I totally disagree with them. I have watched him take over games against mid and high major guards. The kid can play.

Hey JDemp, were you at the Huntington Invitiational in late January? Just curious as to what your impressions of it were?

Yes I was there, but due to scheduling conflicts I was mostly only able to see the game before ours on each day we played.
We did not have a good showing. We were really beat up with injuries and even had a couple guys out. Luckily we played better the second game and got a when. (I'm glad because I almost had a heart attack in the locker room after the first game and the pitiful effort we gave. Injuries or not, effort needs to be there!)

Harold Baruti 6'6 SG Class of 2016

Handles still need to get better, but they have gotten tremendously better. Keep in mind that he is transitioning from the PF and C in the Congo and this is his first year at guard.

He has that hard nose edge and competitiveness. This kid is a warrior. Plays hurt, tired, cramping… No excuses.
