Refuses to air a Veteran group's ad to "please stand" during Super Bowl.

Just when you want to forgive them and watch the Big Game they do something stupid again.

Catering to the lowest common denominator.

So, the players can kneel and make a political statement? But no tv ad, asking to Please Stand? OK.

For a guy who says he doesn't care about the NFL, you seem to care a lot.

By the constant rule tweaks to favor the offense over solid defensive play. But that's a different argument.

Favor the offense? Like making a pass reception only qualify as a reception by not only breaking the plane of the end zone but bringing the ball all the way to the ground? Like fumbling the ball out of the side of the end zone a touchback? By not only have two feet down in bounds and control of the ball on a sideline reception but also controlling the ball all the way to the ground? By “giving the defense time to substitute” if the offense makes a substitution? By a 10 second runoff on an offensive penalty at the end of the game?

i just want to make sure i understand what you're attempting to do - are you attempting to make the argument that the nfl favors defenders over offense?

What part of my post was unclear to argue the NFL doesn’t favor the offense?
well, considering passing numbers just continue to keep climbing year after year, i didn't want to deprive you of the opportunity to prove you're not a nutjob, which clearly your repeated responses prove you are.

How are those rushing yards doing?
How are points per game doing?

The League is the problem for a host of reasons. The League
the game is still entertaining - the nfl keep tweaking the rules to favor the offense because if we wanted to watch low-to-no scoring, there's a separate sport for that called soccer. it's the unwatchable entertainment package wrapped around the nfl that makes it a chore to watch.
