That's an understatement. Besides his football-related issues, Google "Joey Freshwater."
His OC was at Baylor during that fiasco. He wasn't just a naive assistant, he was a coordinator, so he knew most things. He wasn't just a coordinator, he was also the head coach's son, so he knew everything.
His WR coach is the former head coach at Howard. In 2011, he took a leave of absence from the team to deal with a personal issue. In 2012, 14 of his players were suspended for NCAA violations. In 2014, he was suspended for NCAA violations.
His DL coach was arrested in 2014 while at USF for DUI.
His director of player development was fired from LSU and given a two year show-cause for rampant NCAA violations.
And those are just the guys I know about.
The NCAA, as we all know, has a double standard on it rules. FAU will not get the breaks that big name cheaters like Loserville, UNC, Indiana, Syracuse, and Tennessee got. It will get the "death penalty". The question for CUSA is do we want them back when this expires. I say no.

We all know that Drunkerson was playing for his job last year. Had the ball bounced the other way a few times, Briles and co. would already have their shop set up in the Hole. Now they are stuck with this guy for the next half decade. It will be fun to watch.
Briles would have fit right in at the college of fake degrees for crooked politician's children, since the president is a racist and religious bigot, the baseball coach is a racist (according to Pat White), and the law school dean belives in various loonie toonie conspiracy theories. And then there is the basketball coach...

I would say GO ZAGS if MU was 12-0 or 0-12. Because I love this state and what is good for WVU is bad for WV, and v-v. Of all the boondoggle programs the state wastes money upon, WVU is by far the greatest taxwaste.
I do not rag on dead people, particularly ones who were murdered.
I take all this to mean that there is an administration in place at FAU that doesn't care what it takes, they just want to win, and that means they will, at least for a little while.
Look over at Orlando - they hired a guy similar to Kiffin, a genius with no morals covered in warts, and they became a mid-major-powerhouse for the better part of a decade. They killed a kid in practice for chrissakes. They won a BCS bowl, they went 0-12, O'Leary abruptly retired, and they're still a mid-major, sending impotent informational packets out to P5 conferences, just begging for an invitation that's never coming.
So look out, FAU is about to own us for a little while.
