Looks like UAB is hiring Trent Dilfer as its next head coach. He is currently in his 4th year as a high school coach. Players wrote a letter lobbying for the interim to be named the new coach but the AD refused to meet with the players to discuss. Sounds like a very odd choice and a potential for a mass exodus through the portal.
