My my my think Florida State feels like the AAC or Houston is overrated? Where are all the experts to tell us there is no difference between Conference USA and the AAC?

Let me recap this thread before it even starts:

1. The Houston game is just one game. You can't make assumptions on the strength of a conference based on one game. Florida State probably didn't take Houston seriously, anyways.

2. You can, however, judge a conference's strengths on six-seven bowl games. It just doesn't matter about the opponents in said games because all games are equal.

3. We're ignoring the regular season results, strength of schedules, etc. in this argument for some reason. I don't know why, you'll have to ask Herd fans.

Just keep in mind FSU lost their tarting QB before the game, reason still unknown and most of the first half had their 3rd and 4th string qb in the game. Now you can say Houston had their backup in when they lost to UCONN, but then again it is UCONN.

Well, if we're going all in on this excuse thing:

-Cincinnati's QB G. Kiel never made the trip to the Hawaii Bowl. UC more than likely would have beat SDSU if Kiel would have played.

-Memphis lost their head coach to VT before their bowl game. Auburn is LUCKY Frank Beamer retired this year or Memphis would have killed them.

-Tulsa played VT in Beamer's last game. No way the Hokies were losing that one.

-USF played juggernaut WKU which, by all accounts on this board, got shafted by being excluded from the college football playoff

-Bill Cosby went and raped a bunch of women. Huge distraction for Temple which likely cost them their game.

Maybe--but UH only loss this year was none other than UConn and last time I looked Herd beat them!
No No No, you can't go there. But you can make excuses for the disastrous bowl results by saying the so called 6 of the P6 got bad draws. Therefore the bowl results are skewed against them.

What I say to the FSU qb problem is Jimbo Fisher can't carry Art Briles clipboard. Art had the ball snapped to 5 different players and racked up almost 700 yards rushing. Jimbo has a freshman who I don't think had played much at all throwing the ball 40 yards down the field getting it intercepted every third pass. Just looked ridiculous asking that of the kid.

25-25 the past 4 years, the new norm in Morgantown.

Just curious, did someone have to tell Worley in person he was suspended from the bowl game? I would assume so. I mean they couldn't send a text or letter since his dumb a$$ can't read.

Me unejibul? Y four?

The truth lies in the middle.

And you're kidding yourself if you don't think between 5-10 G5 schools wouldn't have beaten that FSU team today.

But it takes away nothing. Houston played very well today. The rest of the AAC? Not so much.

How did UConn score 20 on Houston?

5-10 G5's?? Okay

Yeah, 5-10 G5's. Not really hard to read. FSU had no threat at QB. All they could throw were straight go routes.

WKU, Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech, Houston, Navy all would beat the FSU that played today.

That's 5. Toledo, Temple, Marshall, Boise State and Central Michigan would all have been in the game. Not sure Middle Tennessee State and Western Michigan wouldn't have been in the midst, too.

Anyone who didn't give up points with their offense or special teams would have competed at the very least.

All that said, G5 is 2-0 in Access Bowls. Just keep winning.

Can't believe ole Holgieson had four guys turn up ineligible! Bet he gets on a big public drunk in the off-season...

Shouldn't the WVU fans be on Vermons board with the rest of the drunken, pregnant mother beaters?

When WVU was in the Big East aka AAC, you Herdiots said it was "watered down" when we won our BCS Bowl games. Now you say with Houston winning today, it is NOT watered down. Which is it????
Means much to you. Little to us. Bottom line is there is nothing to discuss about uspam football so your dumb ass hangs here. Herdies must give uspam more positive attention than it gets on own board.

I'll say it. I was really impressed with how Houston played against FSU.

If you deny the predicament FSU was in to try and score points using that very inexperienced backup QB then you're flat out lying. I'm not saying FSU would have won, but they surely would have scored more points.

Why would we make a thread about your insignificant, unimportant team on here? You're irrelevant to us, and college football as a whole. You beat an overrated team from an overrated conference. Big deal. You still lost to UConn.

The Florida State QB situation was not the problem. The o-line was complete garbage. If you follow Florida State then you know we have been living on borrowed time this entire season. We lost to the better team. Tip of the cap and move on.

Marshall is irrevelant. Why do fans of other teams come here looking for approval? They must be so insecure they think coming on here and getting attention improves a wasted life.
