So apparently Notre Dame would have lost to anyone that showed up if you listen to the national media. Article after article spend 90% of the story on the ineptitude of the Fighting Irish offense. Rarely, if ever, does a story include a reference to "an excellent, well prepared Marshall team."
Don't look for a sniff at the Top 25 this week or for the next several weeks. We'll get a few votes, but others will be in front of us without having proven a thing. Notre Dame will fall from the polls completely and at least 4 or 5 one loss teams will be included in the Top 25 after only two games.
If this doesn't put a chip on our shoulder, I'm not sure what will. Grab the lunchbox and go back to work....brick by brick.
