The worse part is FCS Portland State was a 3-4 point favorite over FBS North Texas before the game. Portland State's first year coach must be doing something right. He took over Portland after they stumbled to a 3-9 record last year. He has them 4-1 this year (only loss was to North Dakota 17-19) with wins over both FBS schools he faced. The win over Washington State (PAC12) was 24-17 and WS later beat Oregon. North Texas was nearly shut out 66-0 but scored in the last minute to set the 66-7 final score. PS outgained NT 670-198 and forced them to punt 13 times. The loss was so embarrassing that North Texas's coach was fired immediately after the game.
