For Doc going to Pitt.

From coachingserch.com
Pitt: [/B]Interim athletic director Randy Juhl tells TribLive the school will hire a football coach before a new athletic director, citing the importance of recruiting. The AD search will begin after Jan. 1, 2015. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, head-coaching experience is not a requirement, and a pro-style offense is ideal. MLive.com reports Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi has interviewed for the job.

1) Doubt Doc would go to Pitt is he doesn't know who he's going to be working for.
2) Head coaching experience not a requirement
3) Doc doesn't run a pro-style offense. He could, but I figure he'd take the "Legg's Spread-Wide Open" offense with him.
4) Narduzzi has already interviewed. He's a great coach, I figure he wow'd them.

Everything mentioned in that goes against what Doc is. Unless that is just a smoke screen being let out, which most people do. Could be that Doc asked Pitt to release that stuff since it's getting out that he's one of the top candidates going into his bowl game...or maybe they were never truly serious about Doc. Just wanted to ruffle some wvu feathers & Doc wanting to give Mike some leverage when he goes to donors & asks for more money to give to Doc & the staff.

We'll see.
