That we are leaving CUSA for the Sunbelt I wonder (and many of you will say who cares) if CUSA is able to draw some teams on along with those remaining to continue or just fold. I thought perhaps the Sunbelt would invite former members WKU, MTSU, and La Tech back in the fold but I guess the bitterness of them departing for CUSA remains. The same would probably have been true if we tried to return to the MAC.

There’s almost no one left out in the cold, or able to move up, to join CUSA. It seems inevitable that it folds.

I think the MAC would be happy with whatever table scraps they can get.

I didn’t think the MAC had any interest in expanding - especially into western Kentucky and in Tennessee.

They will...and will inevitably stick together as they sink to FCS status.
