FYI, for the record.
I actually agree with you. Never understood why anybody would want one.99.9% of Americans didn't even know what bump stocks were last week. I think they're moronic to own, and ridiculous that they're legal. That being said the ATF allowed them to be sold in 2010, under the Obama administration.
according to Eric Holder and approved by the Obama admin. They approved it though.FYI. That's because it didn't violate any laws.
Fair enough. Blame to go around.Sorry boys, this one is on Congress. Should have passed legislation to make them illegal. Has nothing to do with Obama, Holder, Trump, or any individual politician.

Slide Fire submitted the plans to the ATF who approved it saying they had not authority. Went to attorney General. Suprising as gun grabbing as the Obama admin was they didn't do more. Like put it up for review or reject it and make Slide Fire sue the govt.
I never understood why anybody would buy one. To me it would cause jams and shooting on auto is not best option.
agreed. but, dammit, wouldn't i love to own a fully auto gun and a suppressor, just to burn ammo up and have fun shooting the shit out of whatever exclusive of living organisms other than 4 legged legally hunted creatures. i've thought about going through the paperwork for a suppressor and getting one, just haven't.Imho, there is no legit reason for anyone besides the military (and in some cases, law enforcement) to own a fully automatic weapon or silencer. Bottom line, those devices are designed solely to kill human beings. Bump stocks are merely a loophole to get around buying a tax stamp for an automatic weapon.
FYI, for the record.
tell that to ObamaI thought Obama was anti-gun rights?
You can't have it both ways.
tell that to Obama
Never understood why anybody would want one.
Me either. Don't own any. Full auto is hard to hit anything with IMO.Auto-fire is kinda fun when you're just burning ammo. Sometimes you need to hit your yearly allotment so you're just dumping mags for the F of it. It kinda has a real life purpose if you're in a real bad place and you just need to put rounds down range for a minute or two when you're getting the fvck out of Dodge. There's really no effective range of full auto, it's just the psychological effect of laying down hate.
I'd never own a bump stock or full auto rifle in the civilian world. It's not that I don't like them, I just think it's stupid.
Probably more like he didn't know what the hell he was doing with it.Tell him what, that I am glad the ATF didn't overstep its legal boundaries on this issue?
what am I lying about? It was approved under the Obama admin.YOU EITHER KNOW BETTER WHICH MAKES YOU A LIAR, OR YOU DONT WHICH MAKES YOU A FOOL.
BRITBART IS RUSSIAN COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA SITE - STAY AWAY, AT THE LEAST STOP REPEATING THEIR PROPAGANDA.
Never understood. You don't need full auto for most applications. Would not even be fun watching money be burned up like that. You could hit shit with one of those POS.For shits and giggles. Same reason someone would put twin turbos and nitrous on a Lamborghini.

i would never trust a bump stock, jammo matic. Some people like it. Hell, people come to Knob Creek's big machine gun weekend (look it up) and spend thousands of dollars just burning through ammo. I would rather test my marksmanship. Once in a blue moon auto fire is fun, I'd like to shoot a minigun just to say I did. I could see owning a bumpstock for suppression fire, but shit if you need to lay down SF you got big problems anyway lol. Maybe it appeals to preppers, too then. Or guys like this who are going to be shooting fish in a barrel.
