ANOTHER REPUBLICAN BIG LIE FROM THE REPUBLICAN BIG LIE MACHINE.
I WOULD BET YOU CANNOT QUOTE ME THAT FROM A REPUTABLE NEWSPAPER
EITHER THE NYTIME WASHINGTON POST OR LA TIMES.
I WOULD BET YOU BUT YOUR WELFARE CHECK PROBABLY HASNT COME YET
AND WHEN IT DOES YOU'LL NEED IT TO BUY ORANGE DRIVER.

Not sure why you're typing in all caps, maybe it's what Xenu demands. And why would I need to go through two newspapers you've handpicked when I just check Obama's own statements? Politifact, a source lefties love to quote, notes that an economist who advised Obama during the 2008 campaign & who helped calculate that figure, says Obama made "
occasional misstatements" (man, Obama does that quite a bit) that tied the $2,500 reduction to premiums. Politifact checked the Project Vote Smart database for instances where Obama said premiums (
and only premiums) would go down by $2,500 & he has a record of making, ahem,
occasional misstatements. .
CNN Democratic Debate
"Point number two is that I am actually not interested in just capping premiums. I want to lower premiums by about an average of $2,500 per family, per year, because people right now cannot afford it. I can't tell you how many folks I meet who have premiums that are so high that essentially they don't have health insurance. They have house insurance." - Obama
Healthcare Town Hall
"In an Obama administration, we'll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year." - Obama
Presidential Debate
"And we estimate we can cut the average family's premium by about $2,500 per year." - Obama
Democratic Debate
"Let me just finish, because this is an important policy point. We put in a catastrophic reinsurance plan that will help reduce those premiums for families by an average of about $2,500 per year." - Obama
