Here's my take on Obi. Not sure what his eligibility situation is. He was at Ok. St. Came to MU and sat out one year. Played Soph and Jr. years. Out 6 games so far this year. Could he sit 2 more games, play the last 4 plus championship and bowl game (Don't know if post season games count in the 4 games played for RS possibilties) then be eligible again next year

Pretty sure the rule is 4 games total so he could only play in the last two games, the championship game, and bowl game to keep the redshirt.

Once we are out of the CUSA there isn’t any reason to play him. No need to risk another injury.

I’m still not convinced we make a bowl game much less winning the east.

His redshirt year was either at Oklahoma State or the year he sat out here while transferring.

I don’t think traditional redshirt is an option. It would have to be medical.

He played in 16 at Okie State as a walk on. Played four games.

Transferred and played immediately here in 17 as a sophomore

Played last year as a true junior

He can redshirt this season and play next year. If of course he doesn’t come back soon.

This is correct. I had in my mind he sat out here in 2016 but I was mistaken.
