I got to watch the first half. I came away impressed with Braun. He was light on his feet on D and worked his tail off to get over ball screens. Also, was alert keeping track of the the ball and man at the same time. Offensively, he spaced well.
Close counts in horseshoes; not so much in basketball. UTSA won tonight which means that the winless HERD is officially the League's bottom feeding cellar-dweller!! "Heel Billy" Ball is a laughing stock in D1 basketball, but to Danny D. and an ever-dwindling fan base, it's FUN!!!
With 2:00 to go in the game, with a lead, MU didn't, wouldn't or couldn't attack the basket and went into "keep from losing" play. As we know, that usually doesn't go well. I'm sure recruits are thinking: "WOW! I really want to play there." Sorry for the sarcasm. It's just my nature.

The recruits we go after don't have much better options.
I can see them thinking that but also maybe, “WOW, I can beat those guys out for playing time.” Question is, if they’re wanting to win more than anything else then they will choose to go somewhere else.
