OHIO game TV availability from ASN

Local 8.1 WCHS-TV

Am i crazy or did theses ASN games come through 11.1 WVAH last year?

I only mention this, because from Huntington WCHS has the WEAKEST tower of them all.

CUSA has got to come up with something better than this. A second rate network at best. Seriously , realizing that most across the nation look at CUSA as a glorified 1-AA conference , you would think that in this day and time the conference could come up with something better than this that or pay Direct TV or one of the major cable providers the $$ that would allow for the top tier teams in the conference to be televised.

C-USA doesn't own the tv rights to this game. I suppose they could create a "C-USA network", if you really think there's a market for that .....

As someone else mentioned the game rights for this is NOT CUSA rights. This is a MAC game and until the MAC got a dea with ASN it was ONLY on ESPN3.

Saying hat CUSA having third tier rights with ASN IS much better than CSS. I haven't missed a game in two years and saw more basketball games last year than previous years. I see the ASN games on Directv more often than not. We are not in a position like the SEC or Big 10 to have a large TV network.

I actually LOVE the ASN games by far. Great coverage and would love for all of the Away games to be on ASN or at least picked up by locals like this. Gives us OTA non-cable people a great option for FREE HD games

As an FYI the game is on Directv in Columbus on channel 53. It's the CW channel in Columbus. WWHODTchannel 53 Columbus. I'm sure it's on all of the cable channels as well.

For Uverse viewers it's available in Columbus, OH market also. The channel is just beyond 1000 (I think it's 1003 for the High Def).

Actually deal is between ESPN and ASN for selected MAC product

I can't stand ASN. Last year when watching the games it reminded me of the awful coverage of Herd games in the early days of the C-USA with my Dad.

That being said, it's not gonna stop me from watching.
