In the olden times lol when a ranked team came to memorial fieldhouse we packed the house. We looked for the upset.
ODU was 5-25 just two seasons ago. I'm not saying we have anywhere near the basketball pedigree that they do, but it doesn't always take a really long time to turn around a disaster in college hoops, even at this level.
Depends on how much ODU wins by...then again , its college hoops and some teams tend to pay more attention to the rankings than others do.Originally posted by murox:

When you are the dog as we will be for most if not all of the remainder of the season , keep in mind "the dog" has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
ODU has a pretty good track record at basketball. They've been to one of the post-season tournaments every year but one for the past ten years, won the CIT one year, went to the NCAA tourney four of those years, and have made eleven trips to the big dance overall.
Meanwhile, MU is back under 300 in the RPI! And while I certainly want to see a conference mate do well this year, I still hope we (somehow) beat down ODU Thursday!
