Harry is the best writer that covers CUSA. Well respected.
You should have to win 7 games to make a bowl game, period. If teams at 6 wins get left out I do not feel sorry for them. Your feelings are hurt because you won half your games and expect a reward for it?
I've been a good friend of Chuck for 45 years and I like what he writes but I stand by what I said above. Harry is an excellent writer. I've gotten to know him a bit too, through e-mail. Only one personal meeting.

That is categorically false. Landon burnt a lot of bridges over the last several months. He has been busted taking stuff off of here over the years and he blatantly makes stuff up. Case in point the basketball hiring. Doc did not kick chuck out.

Does it really or is it just a bunch of sub par schools feasting on themselves. I would buy the argument of conference improvement if the bowl eligibility was comprised of several OoC wins over quality teams.
CUSA's OoC record was 22-31 (.415)
Of CUSA's 22 OoC wins, 9 were against FCS teams. Of the 13 wins over FBS teams only one was over a bowl team (North Texas over Army).
CUSA faced 21 P5 teams and finished with a record of 2-19 over those P5 opponents with the only two wins being MTSU over Syracuse (4-8) and UTSA over Baylor (1-11)
So CUSA's best wins were over Army (8-3), Syracuse (4-8), and Baylor (1-11)
So no I do not buy that CUSA is better.
