I dont understand it. They just watched it roll the whole damn way. The return team is at a big advantage in that situation. Marshall could run up and grab it. ECU is not allowed to touch it. ECUs guys cant even block Marshall players until the ball goes 10 yards. What was the return team waiting for?

We sat back and watched the ball come to us. You have to aggressively attack the ball when an onside kick is a definite.

The onside was bad. No justifying it. But there were two far more egregious special team coordinator errors in tonight's game. That one just happened to be magnified because of the situation and result.
