The constant comments that say this team has no heart or grit. I can accept that we are inconsistent but to say we aren't leaving it all out there is BS in my opinion. If you are making that claim, you aren't paying attention to what goes on the sidelines and how this team interacts with one another. Clearly, they have one another's backs and are a very tight group.
Don't mistake discipline for lack of passion. I'm not saying "discipline" in regards to missing assignments or making mistakes, that's happening. I'm saying it as it relates to keeping composed and focused on the job at hand without allowing antics and emotions to derail the plan. In short, you don't have to act like Lee Smith to have heart and grit.
