trump said no one was involved with Russians during the election - turns out everyone was.
it is not possible that jr., hope hicks, sessions, and lowendowski did not inform trurmp, or
more likely they did not need to - trump was already in it up to whatever that is on his head.

were people who page got permission from and reported to regarding his meetings with high
level Russian govt officials. the noose tightens.

Carter Page, a foreign policy adviser to President Trump’s campaign whose visit to Moscow during the election has drawn scrutiny, sent an email to fellow Trump aides during his trip describing “a private conversation” with a senior Russian official who spoke favorably of the Republican candidate, according to records released late Monday by congressional investigators.

Page also wrote that he had been provided “incredible insights and outreach” by Russian lawmakers and “senior members” of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s administration during the trip.

The email appeared to contradict earlier statements by Page, who had said he had only exchanged brief greetings with the senior Russian official, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, after he delivered a speech at a Russian university.

Mr. Page had consistently maintained that his trip to Moscow was to give a speech at a university. His description to the House committee presented a different picture than he had given during numerous appearances in the news media and interviews with The Times in recent months.

“Were you being honest in your communication with the campaign?” the top Democrat on the committee, Representative Adam B. Schiff of California, asked Mr. Page on Thursday. “Are you being honest in your testimony? Because it doesn’t seem possible for both to be true.”

Mr. Page said Trump advisers were aware of his July trip to Russia, including Mr. Gordon, Corey Lewandowski and Hope Hicks, who currently serves as the White House communications director. Mr. Page said that he had mentioned his upcoming trip to Mr. Sessions, who at the time was a senior policy adviser to the Trump campaign. Mr. Page said he also told Sam Clovis, another campaign aide.
