A relative of mine, ashamed to say what relative was arrested around 6 weeks ago. He is a two time convicted felon. Arrested for possession of a forged instrument and possession of meth. A drug I have never even seen. First day in jail he jumps from the the third flloor when the guard turned his head to speak to another inmate. He broke both legs and an arm. Had to have his leg operated on twice. Instead of jail he finds himself in a hospital after surgery with a morphine pump hooked up to him. The punch line,,,,he is suing the jail and from what I hear he has a slam dunk win. Offered to drop his charges if he drops the lawsuit . No way he is doing this. He will sit in jail and wait on his lawsuit victory. Think about it. Suing the people, or county, or state that in return will pass judgement on him on his charges. The kind of lawsuit I detest. He chose to jump but they are responsible for your safety as soon as they slap the cuffs on.
