I am guessing it is fairly common. Regardless if it is in there, law enforcement is going to use deadly force if they feel it is necessary.
The FBI told Fox News in a statement, "The FBI followed standard protocol in this search as we do for all search warrants, which includes a standard policy statement limiting the use of deadly force. No one ordered additional steps to be taken and there was no departure from the norm in this matter."

Is it common to have specific language that agents are cleared to engage the secret service agents if they intervene? That was in there too, so it wasn’t boiler plate language.

help me out here someone. Isn't Trump protected by the Secret Service? were they suggesting shooting the Secret Service agents assigned to Trump?

If they were dumb enough to open fire on FBI agents, yes. Same as anyone else. No one showed up that day at the FBI to turn the other cheek by taking a bullet. Same as any day, at any other LE agency.
 
Clearly, if there was an opportunity, was the reason it was in the warrant.

so what if they secret service returned fire? They job was to protect Trump and suddenly they are getting fired on? FBI, drop your weapons. Secret Service, **** You. Or they go in and the Secret Service thinks the place is under some kind of attack.

Remember Ruby Ridge? Waco? Sometimes things don't go as planned. Having two law enforcement agencies possibly shoot at each is stupid.

We had to authorize deadly force because Trump may have had a tank or a hit squad in there. He might have had his own para military group ready to attack and take down the country from his house.
