This is what he told Keith Morehouse.
"It's certainly flattering for people to think of me as a potential head coach candidate. However I am enjoying coaching my boys and raising a family in Lexington. I am extremely grateful for coach Holliday's contributions to our program. It is certainly stable and moving in the right direction. I also think it is an exciting time to be a part of Marshall football. I am looking forward to supporting the next head coach at our great university."
Chad has stated multiple times in the past he was more interested in coaching high school football so that hey could help develop boys into young men and give them the tools they need to be successful at the next level.
He also has said even if he ever entertained coaching in college it wouldn't be until his boys were out of school. He's also commented about how he'd hate hitting the recruiting trail.
