There can't be more than 4,000 fans there, maybe 5,000 if bands, teams, media, refs, and the maintenance men for all the heaters Whoston is huddled around.
I'm a Pitt alum and know that my Panther faithful won't travel to Heinz Field (primarily because Heinz Field is as awful as PNC Park is beautiful, if you have been there you know what I mean), but in some defense it is 38 and raining in a bowl game featuring two interim coaches.
Pitt letting them climb back in it, nothing like building up your oppositions hope only to crush it.
Pitt is absolutely horrible. Houston is just as bad needing two onsides kicks, a two point conversion and Pitts receiver dropping a pass to win the game. Both teams are bad bad.

Yeah, took a lot of excellence to come back & escape with 1 point win over a .500 team with 3 losses to teams with sub-.500 records. You guys suck.

Excellence is two onside kicks and a dropped pass to beat a 6-7 team that lost to Akron? There is no way this guy can be a Houston fan, he's trying way to hard to get that program disliked and mocked.
Marshall fans are trying to spin one of the greatest comebacks in bowl history since nobody outside of MU will remember the 2014 team. Unlike Marshall, we beat a P5 team!

Cougar talking about bowl comebacks to Marshall fans...lol. 2nd largest comeback in bowl history was by Marshall and it didn't involve a single onside kick.
