Playing God

I think all rational human beings should take a pause and consider the ethical questions things like this take.

In effect you could "be your own father" DNA wise if taken down the logical path.

I don't hate gays, I pray for them. We all have temptations that we fight every day. Having the temptation is not a sin, acting on it is. I pray they have the strength to overcome the temptation to participate in deviant activity.

Wrong. This is why I love Christians. Most of them don't even understand what their own religious text says.

Lusting, at least sexually, is sinning outside of marriage. Since gays can't be married in the eyes of your selfish god, any "temptation" gays would have to act sexually would be considered a sin. Acting on the temptation isn't the only sin. Even having temptation/lusting is also a sin.

The last sentence is correct. Though technically "lust" toward someone other than your wife (and really "lust" in its narrowest definition towards your wife) even in marriage (so marriage is kind of beside the point) is sin.
