A Bahamas Bowl invitation would actually be pretty cool IMO. I've been to the Bahamas twice. Once in 1982 when I was a kid, and again in 1994. It wasn't particularly expensive to fly and stay down there. I would go back if we get a Bahamas Bowl invite. We were told both times when we were down there, if you are white, don't go around Nassau at night, you WILL be robbed. So we didn't do that and we just hung around Paradise Island and had a great time. I've been to A LOT of beaches, both East Coast and West Coast of the U.S. and the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen were in the Bahamas. The water is crystal clear. It really is amazing how clear the water is.

Oh, my thoughts exactly. Only I don't think we will win decisively this weekend, so even they will be a little hesitant to thump their chest.

Who are the homers who voted win out? Sam, Aaron Perkins, or Coach Stowers?

Aren’t people who post on a team specific message board, by definition, “homers” ?

Anyway, this weekend’s game will tell all. MU has far superior talent to at least five of the teams we play, including ODU, and should be competitive in every game left. If we can regain focus, I say 9-3, which is what I voted, or 8-4. If we lose Saturday, then it is probably all over and every game remaining is in doubt.

So we go to the Bahamas and all of you haters can hate on it.

Probably Sam C... and if they don't win out, it will be because of his claims the state is disproportionate with their funding, or networks want CUSA to disassemble, or because Oliver Luck conspired to make Rice better than Marshall at the last minute.
