Positives, FIU and moving forward

First, that was a hell of a ball game to witness, but it is a L and over.

We didn't play in it, although I bet some of us have heart issues from watching it.

Positives?

Litton is a damn man. That kid has my respect, in fact I now think he ends up being drafted on the 1st day of the draft his Senior year and probably shatters all the records here at MU. After taking a few cheap shots, he still kept it together and found a way to get us in position to win.

Defense may have gave up yards, but they only allowed 17 points in regulation. That should have won the game, however....

Special teams was a nightmare. 5 missed field goals and coaching didn't help out.

I don't see us losing to FIU, and WKU appears beatable, especially after watching the whole FAU game today,

I know we are all madder than hell, but 8-2 and in contention for the EAST on a down year? Still not a bad place to be in.

What's everyone else think the rest of the year holds for this squad?

I think we beat FIU but there is no way we beat WKU. Middle Tennessee put up a ton of yardage against us and WKU is much better than MTU. WKU will turn that yardage into points. We dont have an offense that can keep up with WKU. Last year we did and still lost. WKU will be a tough one for sure. Can we win? Certainly if everything goes right but its going to tough.
