I dont think they are closed closed. I think they are closed to the public. I went to get mail in PO box and heard people working in the back
my PO has lockers. if you get a package thats of normal size they put it in a locker and put a key to the locker in your PO box.
The lobby of ours was open and there was a sign on the door that said there would be no delivery because of Carter’s death.
Your question is hypothetical, but I will say this. ANY person that would close the Post Office because Jimmy Carter died has done a stupid thing.
Are you just in the mood to argue? Jimmy Carter did not die while Trump was President.
But I will indulge you and say that if Jimmy Carter died while Trump was President and Trump closed the Post Office because of it, that would be stupid..
I'm not sure when Jimmy Carter died. I saw that stunt they pulled when they wheeled him out to some parking lot before the election. Looked like he was dead then. Kind of a weekend at bernies stunt the stupid liberals tried to pull. You remember the election. The one I beat greed twice on wagers. Glad he's finally gone from my feed.
Government operations being all effed up is the most touching way to honor Carter I can think of.
