So last nights speech was exactly what a presidential speech should look like. I am very proud of what I saw in our president. My concern is if and how long he can maintain this persona. I am glad we have great leaders in the congress like Ryan and McConnell to help keep the ship steering the course.
So many haters on here like Raleigh Andy and dog rescueer that are clearly not traditional conservatives. No matter what, you will always attack anyone who feels different than you.
Once again as a conservative next steps I want to see is how are we going to pay for the trillion dollars in infastructor. It is a critical need item.
The "wall". I am not opposed to the wall. Just all the nonsensical rhetoric about it. What he didn't say last night that earned him lots of credit it nothing about Mexico paying for it.
He didnt attack anyone in his speech; leaders from other countries, leaders from the left or just any Joe Schmoe that disagreed with him in the past.
I think the lesson learned with the market response the feedback from post speech polls etc. is that America likes the organized stick to the message TelePrompTer trump not the twitter ranting trump.
Here is hoping everyone learns a lesson here. Trump will be much more successful if we see the trump from last night and not the 3 am twitter trump. Except for the three I mentioned above that are way too gone.
