You have a good point. Mexico is a huge problem. They need a boot stuck up their ass. I honestly don't know why we put up with it.
Most of the immigrants are fleeing from Honduras, not Mexico. Honduras is out of control. The number of guns in the hands of gangs far outnumbers the number of guns in the hands of the law enforcement agencies. Men who do not join gangs are being beheaded in their own homes, yards and gardens. The women are fleeing with their children.
And, mexico send them on over. Pass through. In addition, that doesn't mean we should just have an open door and come on in and take over.

Man, they are doing the jobs white guys do in WV. Framing houses, painting, block layers, and working on road jobs driving and operating equipment, trucks, and general labor. It is also drives down wages and cost the healthcare , school systems, and infrastructure millions.
Why is that a problem? That means either the consumer is paying less or the owner is making more. If the consumer pays less, that means they are able to spend more on other things helping the economy from what your side has told me. If the business owner is profiting more, that is a good thing, because your side tells me those are the people who expand businesses which leads to more jobs.

No, minimum wage is for unskilled labor. Furthermore, your side says it is for the worker. Driving down wages hurts the worker. If these big national home builders can hire a bunch of wet backs to to frame a house for half the price that is what they will do. I am not for that.

Yehh right. I see it every day. They are good painters and good carpenters. They also work on the construction jobs with the dirt movers and road builders. Those jobs deserve more pay than Bill the Teenager at Mcdonalds. I could go onto one of these neighborhoods where they are building houses and yell Green Cards, ICE. And they would run into the woods.

And that just isn't happening like you claim it is. Perhaps, sub-contractors are hiring them, but the big national homebuilders aren't doing it. It isn't worth it for them.
How much does a homebuilder make on an average $200,000 house? $30,000? $40,000? If a national homebuilder has already been fined once for hiring illegals, the second incident costs them $2000-$5000 PER employee. You think they are going to risk that type of chunk into their profit and a PR nightmare as a big national company simply to save $1000/house? Nope.
Who do you think the sub contractors are doing the work for? Did you read the article I posted? You go on a job site and the framers don't speak English. We hired a painting company to paint our house. The workers showed up not one of the spoke English. I am sure they were all legal. Wink. Wink. The company was owned by an American. The painters were not.
I was on a major job at a big airport and showed up one day. I asked the superintendent where everybody was. He said immigration showed up and half the workers took off running.
It is rampant.
