Pruitt security detail

Environazis are a notoriously violent bunch.

"We have at least four times -- four to five times the number of threats against Mr. Pruitt than we had against Ms. [Gina] McCarthy," said Patrick Sullivan, EPA's assistant inspector general for investigations, referring to Pruitt's predecessor during the Obama administration. He declined to provide the specific numbers of threats against Pruitt.

"They run the variety of direct death threats -- 'I'm going to put a bullet in your brain' -- to implied threats -- 'if you don't classify this particular chemical in this particular way, I'm going to hurt you,'" Sullivan told CNN in an interview. "Then there's implied threats -- like they say in New York, with the mafia: 'If you come after me and my family, I'll come after you and your family.'"

From the link the OP provided:

"According to EPA's assistant inspector general, Scott Pruitt has faced an unprecedented amount of death threats against him and his family," the agency said in a statement. "Americans should all agree that members of the President's Cabinet should be kept safe from these violent threats."

I call malarkey.

"A nationwide search of state and federal court records by AP found no case where anyone has been arrested or charged with threatening Pruitt. EPA's press office did not respond Friday to provide details of any specific threats or arrests."

For the record: I also call you a liar.

1) Instead of these BS responses can you disprove the findings of the EPA IG?

2) Why is this a partisan issue?

3) Why do you, Extra, think that a threat against an American isn't deplorable?

Can you prove them?

2) Why is this a partisan issue?

Because the party in power now sucks.

Once again, moron, I didn't say that. I stated that I don't believe the cheese factory when they say pruitt has had 5x as many death threats as his predecessor.

You proved my point with your grade school-like rebuttal. You'd be embarrassed for yourself if you weren't so unaware.

These are quoted threats. That's the proof.

Saying you don't believe the IG findings is idiotic. The IG is the end all/be all of investigations. Not agreeing with IG findings is like not agreeing the that Earth is round.

You're not smart enough to understand the implication that no charges have been filed due to the alleged threats. It's a felony that is being ignored? moron

He's a hillbilly politician with an inflated sense of ego and worth.
IMO, he's got bigger issues than this security deal.

Was on a business trip in Boston during the last century waiting in Logan airport for a plane to empty so I could board. Off the plane comes Sen. Ted Kennedy. Considering his family's history, I was shocked to see him with no security, but there he was all by himself....stopping and talking to people as he made his way to baggage claim. And it wasn't a cursory wave, handshake and smile....it was stopping to listen to these folks.

Politically, I was no Ted Kennedy fan, but I was impressed how he conducted himself that day. He didn't allow "threats" to alter his life.

He was good guy. Only left a woman to die. Movie about it. That sure didn't alter his royal life.

Also, how do you know he didn't have security?

He probably has a large security detail because the left wing nut jobs are crazy as hell. Pretty easy to figure out.

5x the threats, no charges filed. Probably because Pruitt is the forgiving type.

Because they can't trace phone calls of threats made against top administration staff? Email? Text?

Your stupidity is impressive.

Because we know everything that is going on and I am sure that happens instantaneously? How about letters mailed from a a blue mail box in Nebraska? Think they find out who did that in 24 hours?
