Purdue 2015 Football

Being horrible this past season does not mean they will be horrible when they play in the Joan this coming season.

They have 17 starters returning I think. With that much experience coming back and our new QB and other spots being new, I suspect a close game. We should win though, no question.

If they were 3-10 last year, the more returning starters, the better.

I hope they bring a good crowd. Most everyone enjoys their trip to Huntington.
Purdue attendance at home hit rock bottom in 2014, averaging only 35,269 for seven home games which included Directional Michigan schools from Kazoo and Mt. Pleasant and FCS Southern Illness and from B1G, Iowa, Mich St, Wisc and Northwestern.

Interestingly, Ross Ade holds 6,100 less than it did when we played them in 2012 (attendance 45,481, plenty of kelly green shirts). I hear there were serious problems with the South end zone seats so they tore the whole structure down. Now the Boiler band will have someplace to park that stupid big drum.

Talking to Purdue fans, I was told that Purdue doesn't travel well. But they are nice folks who made us welcome there.

We were told in 2012 by some Purdue grads that "only freshmen and sophomores go to the games." Very nice fans, but the football atmosphere was really bad for a P5 school.
