Not exactly. As always, 06 is just trying to be a smartass.

Usually you have to right click on the image, select copy image address then come to the post on HN, tap on the pic icon and the box pops up that says insert. Right click in the text field of the box and paste image address.

In my experience, unless they have changed something, you can’t post a raw photo from your phone collection like you do in messaging. You have to use a photo posting server like Flickr.
