(Per sources) - Deon-Tay McManus was pulled over for not putting his turn signal on.

After a thorough search, which turned up nothing, the police ran his name, which reported McManus had a court date in 2013 that he supposedly missed.

Once he got to jail, they later found that he actually DID attend that court date but because it never was released in the system, they had to arrest him as it was an "active warrant".

The protocol is that he has to stay in there until the judge sees him in the morning and admits the mistake.

As all of you know, this is the second time this has happened to a Herd football player.

Long story short, McManus did nothing that deserves any of the negativity going on around on the message boards.

Thanks for the clarification. As someone who has lost time and money due to a simple clerical mistake, I feel for him. This is not justice, it is insult to injury. Pray for our players, be an encouragement to them. Do not pile on them when they're down. GO HERD!

Barney Fife is at it again. Arrest the crack heads. Not using a turn signal? Hell, I'd be in jail the rest of my life if that's the case.

Tay wasn't even driving. Him being taken into custody was a TOTAL MISTAKE and there should be nothing... absolutely nothing negative written about him
