Apparently someone recorded Nick Saban pitching Alabama to a recruit. Huff is the best recruiter out there so this would give you an idea how Huff would pitch Marshall to someone.
Yea unless that recruit is the #1 overall recruit in the country he probably won't be at Bama.I imagine that Saban isn't very happy either...
What's impressive is that Saban keeps it going and it doesn't appear to be stopping. Usually after 4-5 years of dominance teams start to slip. Saban instead just got the highest rated class ever(according to 247) and has managed to stay with or ahead of those chasing him.Saw this the other day and wasn’t really impressed. He just says what anyone with any intelligence would say if they were in his position. He knows how other coaches sell against him so he has a response for the objection.
The guy who impresses me is the one who can take a guy from Alabama. That’s the pitch I want to see.

Might want to wait and see on that one. I have a feeling there's a reason he chose the third best team in C-USA East over The Best College Football Team on the Planet. It may not have been a choice. And Huff is the one that did it! Coombs signed
Agree. That's what impresses me about it. The continued drive to be the best and keeping the expectations and quality of play at the highest level. That's darn tough for anyone but yet Saban seems to be able to do that and get that from his kids. jmhoWhat's impressive is that Saban keeps it going and it doesn't appear to be stopping. At the rate that Saban is going when he hangs it up he'll be on top of one of if not the best coaching careers in history. Every great coach trended down before they finally hung it up. Saban doesn't show any signs of slipping.
Just look at how Pete Carrol dropped off at USC. They had probably some of the most talented and deep rosters in CFB history for about 3-4 seasons and then it started to decline. Bowden fell off hard, Paterno fell off, Holtz fell off, and we can keep going. Bama just continues to get better.Agree. That's what impresses me about it. For sure - I think its the difference between CFB's "go get your players" and the NFL's "here are your players."Just look at how Pete Carrol dropped off at USC.
