Reparations

Exactly….. how about we just say the past is the past and not pay anyone northern or southern\ black or white? That’s not directed at you keep*
That's easy to say for a guy who didn't have his family's ability to prosper, even at an average level, prohibited by the government.

I've gone over this multiple times on here, but some of you are high-rep learners:

What is the easiest way to gain generational wealth? Property ownership. What happens when the government makes it illegal for one group to own property and when banks refuse to loan money to that group to buy property? That group doesn't have the ability to generate generational wealth.

You realize that redlining was just made illegal about 50 years ago, right? Assuming you knew that, you should be able to add 1+1 and realize that means just 1.5 generations ago, blacks had a very challenging time owning property in many areas. As a result, today's generation will not inherit any generational wealth . . . and the same for generations prior.

My dad grew up in a house with a dirt floor for the first part of his life. My mom wore feed sack dresses growing up. Their toilet was outside.

So, if you feel compelled go hand out some of your vast fortune to people. If you want to set an example, go right ahead. Here is the deal. The govt can had out reperations and the class warfare mantra and nonsese won't go away. How would you even prove who gets what and what percentage? Where do you stop in history? Next time you go to a game sit in the top row so your know how the commoner feels or better yet don't go because the poor man isn't getting to sit behind the dugout.

What’s your point? Was the government making it illegal for your grandparents to own property?

My grandmother was born in 1923 and raised on a farm. She took a bath once per month in an outdoor tub in the same water as her siblings. She went to a one room school house where their weekly treat was bringing a potato and cooking it as a snack at school.

My grandpa was raised with a silver spoon in his mouth.

But the government wasn’t passing laws prohibiting her from succeeding or turning a blind eye to discrimination against her by his side. That’s the difference with your family, my family, and blacks.

I haven’t taken a position on it. I simply called out the guy whose family was never impacted and who never missed out on opportunity for taking the stance that he did.

Next time you go to a game sit in the top row so your know how the commoner feels or better yet don't go because the poor man isn;'t getting to sit behind the dugout.
Oh, I don’t sit behind the dugout. I sit on the side of it since those are the better and more expensive seats. Upscale commoners sit behind the dugout.

And poor people do go to games. Of the three games that I just went to since Thursday, I bought an extra seat for two of them and gave them away to the poors.

We were still paying civil war children‘s benefits in 2016 so I don’t think this bozo’s gotcha is as good as he thought.
