Jaylon Beasley, who committed to Marshall over the summer, IS on campus. Here's an update we did on Beasley right after he committed:

Remember the name Dink Jackson? A few months ago we reported Marshall was putting together a NIL package to pay Jackson's tuition so he did not have to count against Marshall's 85 scholarship limit. Well, that effort has come to fruition and sources tell us Jackson is on campus AND practicing with the team. Jackson, a 4 star who signed with Ole Miss in 2021, left Lane Kiffin's program in September of last year.

Finally, sources have told HN that the new black helmets will make their debut on Wednesday, 10/12, when the Herd hosts Louisiana.
