Ryan Taylor

Good move by DD, and from reading story in HD he and Taylor are handling it the way it should be handled - as an incredible teaching moment, not personally

I disagree on this one. We are keeping one of if not our best player out of the lineup in a big out of conference game because he talked too much and got 2 technicals in a game. He didn't get into a fight, he didn't physically touch somebody he let his emotions get the best of him and he reacted poorly. It happens.

A teaching moment would have been sitting him down explaining why that can't happen again, make him run steps at 6 AM and be fine with it. Ryan hasn't been a troublemaker in his time here, this isn't his 6th time of doing something like this. But he has essentially taken away us having a decent shot at beating OSU Friday and is punishing the whole team because he received two technical fouls.

I like Dan and like what he's doing with the basketball program but I don't like this decision at all.

Conference game, non-conference game, championship game it doesn't matter . He should sit out based on his behavior. I was at the game and could not believe his behavior and attitude. What a bad example he set for the younger players,

He complains about getting so many fouls called on him. Most are silly mistakes on his part. Such as reaching in, over or around players when he tries to get the ball.

unfortunately this is not the first time that Ryan has let his emotions get the best of him. it seems like at least once a year he gets a couple technicals at bad times which hurt the team. i applaud Danny for doing this and hopefully Ryan will learn

The last call, his fourth foul, was egregious at best. But the others were OK calls, a bit hasty but OK.

His reaction was hastly buffered, and then he retrenched to make sure he got his points in with the ref. The first technical was accurate, his reponse was not one we want from anyone, but really not from a 5th year senior. Then he attacks the physical facilities I understand. Had DD done nothing harsh it would have / could have ruined everything he's built to this point.

Tough break for the rest of the team, a duly earned result for Ryan, unfortunately.

Don't you think that a 5th year senior who got Teed Up as much as he did last year has not been talked to SEVERAL TIMES ALREADY by the Coaches? Early on in this season and seems like same behavior persists. Perhaps Coach D has concluded that something MORE than a "talk" is warranted if this kind of behavior is not going to be a season wide problems in 2016-17!
