Ryder Cup: edit to say...no response herdman?

Where are you herdman? It's Ryder Cup week. It's in my top 3 golf events.
I have my plans made...I'll be in Pittsburgh for Marshall game Saturday and Steelers Sunday. While the wives shop I'll be parked somewhere watching. I can't wait. I think there's a few Americans hitting stride right now. I'm thinking DJ is going to roll.

Well, I think we do win this year. They will be announcing the final member of the USA team during the NFL game tonight.
Davis Love said this is the most talented Ryder Cup team ever. It is not, but maybe he is motivating the team(although I don't know how you motivate a pro golfer).

I'm not really a fan of Tiger's Co-Captain pick. I love Tiger and really hope he can find a way to get back on track, but the fact remains he is going to be a distraction from a media standpoint. His Ryder Record is anything but stellar. I think for those golfers who are receptive he can be a help. But players like DJ and Mickelson...no way Tiger is going to help these guys.
A couple of things...Johnny Miller, keep your traps shut. Saying that this us the worst European team ever assembled is nothing but motivation for them. And Davis Love...much respect, but why do you have to say this is the greatest Ryder Cup group ever? You can say that behind the scenes, but until we can prove we aren't the European's little b****es...just shut up already.

The thing about match play is you don't have to beat a guy for low score. You have to win holes and not go low for four days. Some guys just play better in that format(Poulter). It is all about match ups and it will be very close.
