Sad news today on the passing of Belfry football coach Philip Haywood.
I’ve had family have the opportunity to play for Coach Haywood and can say it would be a task to find a greater man of influence and teacher not only the game of football but life and being a positive person off the field.
Winningest coach in Kentucky history and 8 state championships in 41 seasons. State semi-finalist last season and was really looking forward to the 2025 campaign.
I highly recommend checking out the books coach had authored. Great reads!
