Sarenac and Miladinovic are In

Next year is a big year for hoops... Probably going to be Coach D'antoni's biggest test since his first season. It's going to be interesting to see who steps up and takes the reigns of the offense with Elmore gone. Who becomes "the guy" late in games.
I know he is very excited with what he will have next year.
Taylor will be a very good and steady PG. Obviously, we know he can score. The you look at Tae, Cam, Darius, Jannson etc. We will be a ton of fun!

I think we can score next year, I just don’t know if we can keep someone in there to defend the basket.

I am perplexed that most times....you do NOT include Dillon in your comments!!! Is that deliberate?????

I'm looking forward to the product that's put on the floor. Not because I think we're going to be great, but because I think it will be fun to watch everyone grow--both grow up and grow together. There will be a lot of frustrating times and growing pains. But I enjoy watching the rebuild as much as I enjoy it once it's built.

Thinking about the situation our 2 most recent recruits see when considering The Herd:
1. System - pro type, wide open, lots of shots, transition b-ball.
2. HC whose kids seem to be well behaved and not showing up in the papers for the wrong reasons.
3. In regards to the 2 new Euros: Don’t discount 1) Penava’s success (I know - ancient history, and yet just over a year ago) 2) while they will have to adjust to the entire college environment, having a coach on staff from the same continent who speaks the language can’t hurt.

Always regarding Dillon - IMO should have played for Doc but the young man wanted to play basketball. He was an outstanding high school player at Mingo Central and I watched him play several games. Undefended he is a good shooter. Pressure him another story. Always I hope the kid gets a decent shot but I think Dan took a chance on Coach Cline and some Mingo County money. JMO

Does this Huntington rumor have legs?
The guard for IUPUI supposedly is graduating with a year’s eligibility left.....Grad xfer that’s interested in playing for the Herd.....#5 Camron Justice...
He was filling it up from deep in that 1st half....

Lol mingo county is overflowing with cash. Good grief college educated people not all are some really stupid people who are not fit to drag guts to a bear. Some of them college boys are light in the loafers too.

He had expressed an interest to come here from Vandy and now again from IUPUI. Danny had no interest the first time. First, we have zero scholarships available.
The staff was to have met with every player last week to discuss their futures. If any decide to not return, then we would have a scholarship. Then the decision would have to be made to go after a 6-9 guy they have looked at or another guard, I believe they will choose to go big IF they can get their guy.

As a native of Mingo County I am offended by that last comment about the family tree. Why can’t posters be civil and keep on topic about Marshall athletics and other things Marshall related instead of making stupid comments like that. Tim Hensley, you may know who I am by the 228. I resisted posting on this board for a long time, but lately have been compelled to chime in.

228 - not sure; are you offended because the reference is about Native American heritage? If you were born in the southeastern part of the mountain state, there’s a good chance there is some NA in your dna. I think you’re ire should be directed towards our opinionated fan from up north!!
