On Thursday, the Marshall University Board of Governors approved a resolution spelling out the process and timeline for selecting the university’s 38th president.
A search committee also has been named.
“It is the board’s intent to conduct the most inclusive and transparent presidential search that has ever been done at Marshall University,” Board Chairman Patrick Farrell said at Thursday’s meeting. “We will keep our entire university community and the public informed through multiple media channels including a robust presidential search website, where you can find details about the process and any updates we have along the way.”
Members of the university community are encouraged to provide feedback and/ornominate a candidate through the website. The committee will consider all input.
