Seriously what is the deal with this black national anthem thing?

I know I went over this a couple of years ago with you deplorables. Do you need to read the entire Anthem again to understand why blacks, as well as any non-deplorable, shouldn’t support it?

Oh yes. We'd love to hear more of your worthless drivel.

Go ahead. Are they claiming not to be Americans or what?

Wouldn’t something that’s literally referred to as, “The Black National Anthem”, be considered as racist and not inclusive??

I must be very white because I do not know what you are talking about.

Read the full Anthem. A verse very specifically celebrates the killing of black slaves who are fighting for their freedom. It was written by a slave owner whose brother-in-law was the DA in DC and was vehement about blacks being subhuman and prosecuting those who believe otherwise.

So let me reiterate: we are faulting blacks for not honoring a song that very specifically celebrates the killing of black slaves who were fighting for their freedom, written by a slave owner whose own family was a huge factor in subhumanizing blacks.

fighting for their freedom? they were fighting for the king.

Now what the **** is the black national anthem? So do they not consider themselves Americans or what? Who the hell plays the black anthem? The NFL?

fighting for their freedom? they were fighting for the king.
Why the fvck would a bunch of slaves fight for a king they had no allegiance to? They were fighting for their freedom, as that is what they were promised if they were victorious.

Anthems, flags, symbols. All part of trying to make people have a common belief, a common country. Too late, we are so divided that no one believes in anything snymore.

Let’s look at how foolish and hypocritical you are.

Robert E Lee was an enemy of the U.S. government and fought against the U.S. But according to you, he is an American hero and schools are fine to be named after him because he was fighting for his livelihood.

Black slaves who fought for the crown were fighting against the future U.S. government in order to gain freedom. But according to you, they should not only have schools not named after them, but we should a song celebrating their deaths.

How do you support one guy who was fighting against the U.S. because the government may hurt his wallet while faulting a guy for fighting against the future U.S. government in order to gain freedom? Doh!

They were fighting for the Crown of England, the enemy.

That's pretty easy to figure out, rifle. Your argument makes no sense.

So, you were hoping England would have won the Revolution. hahaha.

Makes zero sense.

In other words, they were fighting for the enemy of the U.S. government.

Likewise, Robert E Lee was fighting for the enemy of the U.S. government.

Yehhh, no shit and we don't play homage to Robert E Lee before the Cowboys vs Giants game either.

the anthem mentions some specific blacks in the other verses because they were fighting for the King, the enemy. The mention Red Coats too. Does't mean the country hates blacks

Were you and some these people screaming hoping Great Britain won the war? ahhahaaa

In that case, then why do you cry when we take down monumnents and rename schools of Stonewall Jackson and Lee? They were fighting against the U.S. government, so how come you cry when we try to stop honoring them?

Hypocrite. That’s all there is to it.

I don't give a shit about them anymore. Do want you want. However, it is just white lib rage and doesn't do a damn thing to help blacks. That shit does nothing but just is lip service to nothing.

That being said, there is ONE national anthem. There is no black nation.

No, no, fvcking no. That isn’t how it works.

You can’t cry about one thing, then when the exact same thing happens but it’s against your political stance, you can’t suddenly claim you don’t care about the first issue anymore.

You’re a fvcking hypocrite. Own it.

You are saying your were rooting for the British and blacks were rooting for the British

So tell me how were blacks going to fit in if the british would have won, in a British controlled colonial America.

I don't care about the statues anymore. what's the point? It is just a deflection by the left . A deflection of their own complete failures.

hahaha

Jefferson Finis Davis (June 3, 1808 – December 6, 1889) was an American politician who served as the president of the Confederate States from 1861 to 1865. As a member of the Democratic Party, he represented Mississippi in the United States Senate and the House of Representatives before the American Civil War.

You're attempting to change history. Won't work with me oath breaker. Conservatives by a different name are still racist conservatives. Idiot.

Well are you saying all conservatizes are racist? You do know liberals can be racist as well, don't you? You are attempting to hide the history of the Democrat Party. It is their history. Like it or not.

I don't have to hide the history of the democrat party, as they used to be the conservative party. Conservatives are known for their racism and bigotry. Oath breaker.

Look at their current history and their past history. Now what are they? Biggest racists on the planet(they don't want blacks or others to do better, they want them to stay down). They continuously tell them how bad they have it and they can't think for themelves and can't make copies of an ID. Don't even know how to vote. They are the party of left wing socialists and Marxist.

hate to tell you this but the Democrats are the party of elite big tech power brokers and Wall Street.

The Dems have a screwed up history.

You'll have to sell that malarkey to someone that's stupid. I'm not in the market for it. Oath breaker.

Context is not a friend to liberal ideologues.
Glad I was able to give rifle a history lesson. But here it is again.

“The Star-Spangled Banner” in no way glorifies or celebrates slavery. The middle two verses of Key’s lyric vilify the British enemy in the War of 1812, what Key refers to in Verse 3 as “hirelings and slaves.” This enemy included both whites and blacks, largely British professional soldiers (hirelings) but also the Corps of Colonial Marines (slaves). The Colonial Marines were escaped black American slaves who joined British forces because of the promise of freedom in return for fighting their former masters.

https://www.cnn.com/2016/08/30/opinions/where-kaepernick-lost-me-cane/index.html
Fortunately, Britain honored this promise after the war, relocating the former slaves and their families to Halifax and Trinidad. For Key, however, the British mercenaries were scoundrels and the Colonial Marines were traitors who threatened to spark a national insurrection.

The graphic language of Key’s denunciation of this British enemy led to the removal of Verse 3 in sheet music editions of the song in World War I, when the United States and Britain became staunch allies.

Yet in 1814 Key’s lyric honored American soldiers both black and white. “The Star-Spangled Banner” celebrates the heroes who defended Fort McHenry in the face of almost certain defeat against the most powerful gunships of the era. America’s soldiers included mainly whites, but also free and escaped blacks. Escaped slave William Williams served in the US infantry at Fort McHenry and was killed by a fragment of a British bomb. Another escaped slave, Charles Ball, writes in his memoirs of being among the American soldiers of the Chesapeake Bay Flotilla who courageously repelled a night attack and saved the city. “The Star-Spangled Banner” thus honors American military heroes, black and white, without regard to race. In this respect, “The Star-Spangled Banner” is not racist.

Uhh, that’s not the argument. Why is critical thinking and reading so difficult for you deplorables?

I'd rather hear the Black National Anthem than the damn Canadian one any day.

Always pissed me off when I'd go to a game and sometimes they played the stupid Canadian one, too. Think it was at a Huntington Blizzard game back when I got conned into going to a game of that bullshit.

That's another time another novel I guess, but it taught me how much hockey blows and thank goodness they got the hell out of town.
