Why don't we have consistent shooters? La Tech bench and freshman are making a big impact as well. We are looking really weak.

I had high hopes after the non-conference games but I was wrong. This team will not run an offense and is now playing week inside defense. I’m over it.

We have shooters that are consistent in attempting the 3-ball but will not attack the rim and get to the free throw line.

I was very happy to see the 2nd half turnaround. Played 3 of 4 halves this weekend pretty bad but came out in the 2nd half on fire tonight.

I will take it and am proud of their comeback. Can’t play that bad in against the better teams and expect to come back though.

Just a glimpse of what we can be. Taylor was huge tonite! imo we may find out that LATech is one of the top 4 teams in conference heading down to Frisco. This win is like 1.5 - we stole one from a team that doesn’t lose often at home. They are now 55-8 in the last several seasons in conf games. Go Herd!!

We have consistent shooters. We just don't have consistent scorers, except TK. I'm sticking with them. Hopefully, The shooting will come around.

When Beyers hits his shots, we win. He may not be our best defender, but he is likely our best outside shooter. If he could be great at both, he would be playing at Duke or UNC. On that note, how long has it been since Duke, UNC, and UK are all three out of the top 25? I can't remember back that far. All three have adopted the one-and-done recruiting model. I've read that socialism works until you run out of other people's money. This recruiting model works until you recruit a class that does not work out to be so great, even though they came in highly regarded. Strange that it is happening to these three schools at the same time. Comments?

Duke #20 AP

‘Ol Roy has not adopted the OAD “model”. If anything he underutilizes potential high draft picks, hopefully to keep them around longer.
