Can someone come in and be a contributor? Sure. Might be me, but I just feel like we’ve never had anyone transfer that’s been a difference maker or was irreplaceable. Just not a fan of the portal in general. WKU has done well via the portal, at least for this season. Just not my cup of tea I guess.

Our history isn't the best for sure, but it does seem like this years group has contributed more than many others in the past. jmo

Beckett did okay. Obi did well enough to leave again. Who was the dline kid from UCF - Keller maybe? Moo moo wasn’t bad.

This year Jayden Harrison, Cory McCoy, Shane Simmons and Tyqaze Leggs have all been good. I think Harrison and Leggs could be stars by the time they're done at MU.

Coach Huff is a huge fan of the transfer portal. I'd expect us to take 4-5 kids a year as long as he's in Huntington. Quentin Williams from Miami is already committed and we've hosted multiple other potential transfers on OVs. Have a kid in from Austin Peay this weekend.

I don’t think Bradshaw was technically a transfer. He was booted like the first week, maybe before enrolling or attending class. I know he was immediately eligible.

The transfer portal can be an excellent method to pick-up a few very good players who really did not fit in another team's plans / methods. The coach has to make sure the potential player is not forced to transfer because of he is not a team player or has other problems.

I believe that Coach Huff is very smart and has the ability to stay away from problems and find winners.
