I just assumed the 25 members of the Big Ten are large enough to field all of the sports teams. My guess is a remixed eastern combination of the SBC and CUSA. Second best guess is SBC.
Rumor around town is that, should MU go to another conference, soccer office has received assurance that we are welcome in the Atlantic Coast Conference, which has only 11 members in men’s soccer. WVU apparently is seeking the same deal with the 9 team Big 10 should CUSA colapse. Neither the SBC nor the “Big” 12 have men’s soccer.

I believe we will be in a new conference.
Won't happen with Judith in charge. If any one things for certain. She needs to be removed.I voted for SBC but I'd say it's 50/50 at this point.
If we are going to stay in CUSA we better get handed the keys (along with WKU, La Tech) where we are involved in picking who comes in. Liberty, UConn and whoever else we can cobble together.
I have to walk a fine line, being the people's moderator and all.Always insightful herdman
My question is there an exit fee from CUSAI voted for SBC but I'd say it's 50/50 at this point.

Once the first teams leave I’d be fighting hard for not paying it since it’s no longer the same leagueMy question is there an exit fee from CUSA
I agree. Nothing to really care about, if this is what they end up with. What a bunch of stiffs.I think this would be a HUGE mistake! Horrible competition.
afraid you are correct on this oneHerd will stay put I think.
May be? there’s no doubt we are especially if we stay with cusaMarshall may be de-emphasizing athletics and don’t even know it.
Not good. I went to college for the sports.Marshall may be de-emphasizing athletics and don’t even know it.
This could be the motto for the MU student body. 🤔Not good. I went to college for the sports.
And, of course, RhinoD, there is always "Mighty" UMass ready and waiting in the wings!I voted for SBC but I'd say it's 50/50 at this point.

Reading between the lines of the statements made by people in the University (Huff, President) Marshall will be content with staying in C-USA. I think this would be a HUGE mistake! Less money! Horrible competition. ESPN working against us. Most games on Facebook. Fan interest would evaporate even more. I think MU needs to take all of this into consideration. But I sense they won't.
CBSSN Facebook if I read it correctly.Regarding "Facebook", I happened to check this week's FBS schedule on CBSsports.com Of all such games scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week, exactly FOUR games show NO Television, No streaming availability, etc... Naturally, ONE of them is FIU at Marshall at the JOAN on Saturday! THANKS, Commissioner Judy!
There is zero doubt in my mind that the president will be Brad and the conference will be SBCPretty overwhelming opinion that we end up in the SB. The fact that we are we waiting to announce does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.
